- IoT field installation for IoT solutions and respective IoT widgets to the IoT deployment locations.
- Confirm WHS & regulatory conformity by performing the installation in accordance to technology standards, industry certifications and regulatory requirements in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Ensure IoT operability of any IoT solutions and widgets deployed during the field installation such as devices, antennas, cables, surge arrestors and towers.
Primary Objectives
Key Activities
- Site identification & mapping to confirm the locations where the IoT deployment or IoT solution is intended to be installed (including physical building, street address or GPS co-ordinate).
- Pre-installation assessment to survey installation constraints such as confined spaces, communications room availability, roof access, safety harness points, high voltage lines, presence of hazardous materials such as asbestos etc..
- Physical installation of the necessary IoT widgets and their components such as devices, antennas, cables, surge arrestors and towers.
- Basic validation and testing to ensure that the IoT solution or widget is functioning properly as required in accordance with the standards and documentation provided by the manufacturer or solution vendor.
